Passivation

Passivation is a chemical treatment that removes free iron and other contaminants from stainless steel surfaces, enhancing their natural corrosion resistance. Using nitric or citric acid, the process promotes the formation of a protective oxide layer.

Freedom offers multiple passivation methods to meet specific material, application, and industry requirements.
